Class descriptions

Parent/Tot:

In this class your child will be introduced to exercise and activities that will help to develop gross motor skills, balance, coordination, strength and self-esteem.

Beginner:

This class is geared for children with little to no gymnastics training. This class will focus on basic gymnastic skills and forming correct body positions.

Intermediate:

This class is geared for the child that has mastered the beginner skills or has been evaluated by our staff and has demonstrated mastery of the fundamentals. This class will follow closely to the USAG competitive skills that are needed for moving to the girls/boys competitive team. Not all children have the desire to compete and our goal is to keep your child challenged so they may continue into the advanced class.

Advanced:

This class is for the child that has mastered the skills from the beginner and intermediate classes and are ready to learn more advanced skills and progressions.

Tumbling:

We offer beginner classes in tumbling for students with little to no training in tumbling to learn the basic tumbling skills that form the building blocks for more advanced skills. As the student’s progress they will move into intermediate and advanced tumbling classes where they can build on the basic into more difficult skills and combinations.

Boys:

We offer beginner through advanced level classes for boys ages 3 and up both and the recreational level and competitive team.

Adult Tumbling class:

This class will work in a skill progression format. Basics will be taught first and continue through progressions into more difficult skills including tucks, layouts, and twisting.
